Mailinglists

There are two mailing-lists at the moment:

nhtsclient-devel , the developers' mailing-list.
nhtsclient-cvs , a mailing list which automatically receives mails every time a developer commits any changes to the CVS repository.

CVS

You can checkout the nhtsclient-repository through anonymous (pserver) CVS by issueing the following instructions:

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.nhtsclient.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/nhtsclient login cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.nhtsclient.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/nhtsclient co nhtsclient

This will get the latest version of nhtsclient from the repository and store it in the directory 'nhtsclient' on your local machine.

When prompted for a password, just hit Enter.

You can browse the repository online if you wish.

How to contribute

Everyone is encouraged to send me contributions of any kind, like patches, graphics, ideas or suggestions.
Have a look at the current TODO list, maybe you can help...

Use

diff -Naur old_dirname new_dirname > patchfile

to generate patches which you can send to me.

Test these patches with

patch -Np0 < patchfile

If the patch works, you can send it to me.
Always include information about which version you patched.

If you plan to make lots of changes, it's better to send several smaller patches than a big one. This will ease including your changes in the distribution.
